MEET THE FOUNDERS, MOLLY & STEVE Walton
Molly Walton
Molly brings a unique combination of Midwestern values and global hospitality experience to Resourcefully Yours Tahoe. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in Oxford Ohio where she completed an international business study abroad program through MUDEC in Luxembourg. An avid traveler, Molly has led adventure tours across the U.S. and abroad, while also teaching fitness and dance classes in a variety of settings, eventually landing in the Point Reyes National Seashore, in West Marin County, California. She has managed rental and private homes and leisure experiences from there to North Lake Tahoe, where she’s lived since 2004.
Her professional background spans marketing, hospitality management, real estate, and luxury adventure tourism, with a strong focus on operational logistics and customer service leadership. With this diverse experience, Molly oversees daily operations with precision, care, and a deeply personal touch while maintaining a vision for efficiency and fun, creating lasting memories for owners and guests. Clients trust Molly to anticipate needs, coordinate teams seamlessly, and deliver exceptional results — whether managing a lakefront property or supporting a mountain sports retreat.
Steve Walton
Steve is a licensed civil engineer, former Owner/Founder of Walton Architecture and Engineering, and Tahoe City native. His deep local knowledge and technical expertise make him an invaluable resource for property management clients. From overseeing repairs to coordinating complex home systems and engineering solutions, Steve ensures every property is safe, functional, and cared for to the highest standard. He has all the local licensed contractor contacts for any stage of your project and actively oversees all operations from conception to installation.
Steve’s 2017 Malibu Wakesetter 25LSV is on Lake Tahoe from May through October annually with an extensive quiver of wakesurf boards and personal flotation devices, upgraded sound system, and open floor plan ready to host your friends and family for unforgettable days on the Lake.
Together, Molly and Steve offer a seamless experience combining warm, professional service with technical precision.
